Welcome to the Micro/Nano Devices (MiND) laboratory at the University of Glasgow, UK. The MiND laboratory focuses on developing a variety of micro/nano electromechanical systems (M/NEMS) and devices for industrial applications including nuclear power plants, automobiles, and space & avionics applications.

The research objective of our group is to demonstrate cutting-edge technologies and approaches to develop new M/NEMS technology-based sensors/detectors and actuators to promote their usage and exploitation in real-life application fields.

The group's prime research activities focus on the development of efficient and affordable high-sensitive sensors and actuators solutions.

While achieving our research objectives, the group educates and trains undergraduate and graduate students to become top-level academician, scientist or engineer, who can contribute to science and/or industry by successfully dealing with the challenges and applying the high-level fundamental research and knowledge to advance science and technology
